Fairfield provides a highly motivated and qualified staff team each of whom is experienced and qualified within his/her own specialism. As an organisation, Fairfield is committed to a long-term programme of training and development, ranging from NVQ Level 3 in the Care of Children and Young People, NVQ Level 4, The Registered Managers Award and Social Work qualifications.

All staff complete training in;

  • Autism awareness

  • Medication

  • First aid

  • Alternative communication methods

  • Managing behaviour

  • Team-Teach

  • Child protection or The protection of vulnerable adults

  • Health and safety

  • Risk assessment

  • Food hygiene

  • Epilepsy

During the recruitment process Fairfield Residential will follow its safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults policies & procedures and this will include undertaking Disclosure & Barring checks to enhanced level.
